Did you know that Optimum customers get complimentary Wifi access pretty much from anywhere?
Optimum Takes pride in having over 1 million hotspots located in business, residential, and public areas. This can be extremely helpful if you are traveling or want to limit your data uses on your cell phone.
Todays tech tip is for Optimum customers and which will go over how to access an Optimum hotspot.
Things that you need before we begin.
- You need to be an Optimum customer
- You need to have your Optimum email address and password.
The first step is to click on your wifi Symbol at the bottom right hand corner of your screen that looks something like this. 
After you have clicked on that wifi symbol you will have the option of connecting to a wireless network that is in the area. You will have a whole bunch of them that are available. You want to click on the one that is labeled optimumwifi and choose connect.
Now go and open your web browser. You can use either Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
You will be asked to sign in with your optimum email address and password.
Choose Auto Sign In to not have to do this sign in process anymore. Or manual sign in for a one time sign in.
You should now be able to browse the web and access all your Internet content
